As Futrom is currently just selling room modules, we will connect you with a Cosmo-certified and Futrom-licensed contractor to help your utility hookups, foundation, landscaping, permits and more. Depending on your location and the complexity of your site, the cost can go from as low as US$5,000 to as high as US$50,000.

Homes from Futrom are made from specialized materials, including patented stainless steel, dressed in an exclusive coating, extremely durable tempered glass and an eco-friendly solar-powered glass that provides energy to new homes. These building materials will not degrade and can last a lifetime. We know that the structure is the backbone of every house, and we want to ensure that every occupant feels safe every time they enter their home.

Futrom homes have been tested to withstand most extreme weather conditions, with each home tested to last up to 500 years. Futrom are rated for hurricane speed winds, handling the worst wind conditions worldwide. Futrom also won’t use lumber or sheetrock, meaning there will not be water damage while mold will not grow in your home. If your Futrom floods, water can drain out. The interior and exterior of the structure is clad with non-combustible materials, making it as fire resistant as possible. Additionally, if a Futrom home is placed in an area vulnerable to earthquakes, every home will withstand the pressure and violent movements the earthquake produces. Futrom are also snow load rated, providing you a warm home going through a snowstorm. Finally, when brought into the unfortunate situation where there are crossfires in the area, the home is bulletproof, providing a safe haven for every occupant.

Sustainability is one of our premier focuses while creating our room modules, making our homes extremely energy efficient. This is because the high R value insulation, tight building envelope, and limited thermal bridging.

Plumbing, electricity and HVAC all come pre-installed in your Futrom home from the factory. Utilities simply plug in on site to the exterior corner of your home. Additionally, you can set up utilities however you want to at your site. Whether it’s a water tank or solar panels, it will connect the same way to the home as other regular utilities. If you wish to obtain your energy off grid, there is an option where you can connect your power to your local residential area provided by your local energy provider. In the event where your home needs to be placed in the worst of environments, we can provide a carbon-free, uncontaminated energy source. If there is a defect in the modular cube you receive, Futrom offers a 3-year warranty for homeowners in which they can exchange the product. However, Futrom is not responsible for any manmade defect caused by homeowners.

If you receive the product and decide it is not right for you within 30 days of purchase, homeowners can return the product, and will be responsible for the insurance, shipping, and handling of the modular cube.
